Sarah Baca, MBA
Sarah Baca was born and raised in New Mexico and has been involved in the autism community for 10 years. Sarah’s son was diagnosed with autism in 2010 and ever since then being involved in the autism community became her passion. She served as the Executive Director of the New Mexico Autism Society for 7 years where she used her knowledge in the legislative process to help create more opportunities for those affected by autism in NM. Sarah holds her Bachelor of Science in Communication and her Masters of Business Administration and is a Certified Family Peer Support Worker in New Mexico.
Among Sarah’s accomplishments are being awarded a Legislative Internship scholarship where she was able to intern and then eventually work for the Legislative Council Service and being honored as Albuquerque Business First’s “Forty Under 40.” She and her husband are proud parents to 3 sons. When Sarah is not busy advocating for the autism community she spends her time in the beautiful outdoors: camping, off-roading and racing their family built baja truck, “Lego”; which is used to spread autism awareness, acceptance and understanding.
